Gate Locking at Memorial Park November 10, 2022 – Posted in: News

ASHINGDON Parish Council has made the decision to start locking the gates to the car park at King George’s Playing Fields (Ashingdon Memorial Park).

The gates will be locked from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Every day.

This is in response to residents concerns and to stop anti-social behaviour in the car park at night. The car park has seen many incidents over recent years of damage to property, abandoned cars and drug dealing.

It will also help stop the potential of travellers moving into the park.
